What is our best on the 100m sprint?
This topic, as simple, loud and pointless as it may appear was actually intended to hopefully progress into a discussion about the style of games we play today - for instance, requiring us to press multiple buttons and swivel thumbs inanely over the 4 way D-pad like a an excited monkey in a sweet store...
Will we ever see one button wonders again? I mean, will there ever be games in which you only have to press one button at a time - games like Sega Rally! Now that was a superb game, shame that the improvements made it much worse in the sequel, funny that!
Crazy Taxi's Crazy Box mode was responsible for several tubes of ointment for my thumb hinges - these games are just so addictive!! Who cares if you can jump 100 metres further than anyone else in the country, or score a 400,000 point combo WITHOUT using any cheats?
We do!
We're always trying to complete things, trying to improve and get the most out of the games we buy, especially when they're so bloody brilliant!! I'm not saying I want more flawed games, more uninspired unoriginal & completely lame console games, but it would be a lot better for our digits...
Discuss?
muahahah
I understand what you mean though....I hate the PS2 controller.
