I just read a post about someone who has an obsession with his PS2.
I had a thought, and that doesn't happen too often.
When you go to 'Start a new topic' as an example of what topic you should post it says:
'Console Wars - who is the best?'
Maybe if this was changed to something else we wouldn't have as many new members starting these, quite frankly, annoying posts.

I'm new but i try to give thought into my topics. Don't put down newcomers cause when you all leave or your computer blows up whose gonna chat then and special reserve will stop. Maybe they shouldn't even give an example and just let the newcomers think for themselves
Statements like "I like PS2 cause it's cool".
I dont really have a problem with console war topics if they are well written, informative and look at the "war" from a non biased perspective.
If its just "PS2 Rules, Gamecube's for kiddies", then they just be wiped from the face of the planet.

Perhaps instead it should read "The finer points of Democratic Socialism, and how it applies to 21st century politics and economics."
It would deter some of the mongs, at least.
