Whats happening to this genre - very few pinball games are available these days. They used to be so cool, you could sit there playing for days on end just to get a new high score.
The best games are
Pokemon Pinball - its a liitle simple and overly long (getting all the 'mon).
Kirby's Pinball Land - hands down, the most fun and compelling pinball game I've ever played and it only cost me 4 quid.
Crue Ball - years ago my dad got this as a birthday present for me when the Mega Drive was in its prime. Damn fine chunk of pinball to played even if it is based on Motley Crue.
Psycho Pinball - another great pinball game on the Mega Drive with sweet graphics.

Im now looking forward to get Pinball of the Dead on GBA (and Ikaruga for GC - it aint pinball but I bet you stay on it for days just for a high score.)

I thought Addiction Pinball for the PC was a great example of a pinball game. It's a shame that there were only 2 tables to choose from. The Worms table was brilliant.

I've got Motley Crue!

What about Dragon's Fury on the Megadrive?

It'll also add a two player element, a second player could use the Gba to help out the 'real' player on GC.

I like this idea!

A GBA version could have a link up feature so you could "push" the ball on to the other GBA - a bit like 2 player Tetris.

Pinball Dreams.

I use to have it on the Amiga 600 and my friend got it packaged with his GP32 handheld.

It has dramatic music which makes me laugh.

The two shoulder buttons can control the flippers and the big fat A buton can be a nudge function.
Also on GC there's the opportunity that if the ball wass to drop down a hole in the table it could 'appear' on the GBA that could be connected - and you'd play on the GBA to try and get the ball back onto the TV.

Pinball games are great! I first used one on an old Macintosh computer many years ago. It was brilliant. The only pinball game I have now is the one that ships with Windows ME - and thats not bad, but where is a console version!
