The film stars Robert De Niro as a major Mafia boss whose fellow gangsta's car is crashed into by calm therapist Billy Crystal in an accident. Billy offers help and Rob de Niro tells his friend that he has a friend who he needs to ask the therapist about for help. It isn't long before Billy works out that De Niro's friend, is himself. And so, an odd relationship begins between the two, with De Niro interupting Billy's wedding to friends star Lisa Kudrow, other appointments, and forces Crystal into mafia meetings.
It is hilarious. It proves that De Niro is one of the greatest actors of all time, as it proves he can act in action, gangsta, and now comedy films.
Better than Meet the Parents, better than rocky and bullwinkle, this is Analyze This. Its sequel, Analyze That, is out this or next year.

Nothing like his role in Usual Suspects but he is actually quite good.
"I'm cold Max. I'm really cold."

All the crying really didn't suit De Niro, and it was only once he started talking as if he was in control again (to Chaz Palmentari at the end) that I liked him in it.
It didn't seem that funny though.
By far the best bit was the slaps Billy Crystal gave the fat mafia guy. Jesus they were good slaps!
