i thought maybe i got it set wrong but i tried different settings ect and it doesn't detect it.
what a shame as it's a nice priced modem was looking forward to playing it online.
at least i reneted it and had the modem on my PC anyway so i didn't waste any cash.
Oh well, the wait for true online gaming goes on.
(refer to FOG Chat topic "Failure to deliver = failure?")
Thanks for clearing that up though ^_^

Nope, a Diamond SupraMax draws its power from the USB port. Not only is it not supplied with a PSU, there's not even a connection to plug one in.

Hang about, isn't the modem an external source? Meaning, it would most likely require it's own power-supply and not the PS2's?
Wasn't there an adapter that came with the modem or something?
i had tony hawk 2 on DC but the 3rd installment i was very dissapointed it's the same old thing all over again, the courses weren't a massive improvement which is what i hoped, anyway it doesn't work and the game lacks in depth.
i suppose if your into skateboarding you'll like it.
i'm gunna go for smackdown i think as that was a laugh.
I enjoyed Phantasy Star Online cause even when I just started, I was able to go online and enjoy myself. When I had Quake 3 I hadn't had much experience of it on the PC whereas others did. I still did really well and won loads of matches cause I pick up games pretty fast. But I could see how lots of other players in my situation would feel a little intimidated when it came to playing online cause the pro's would rip them apart in seconds and that can put a lot of people off.
I like the idea of online RPG's cause it involves every level of player a lot more. It was nice when I started out cause I met a few players online and they were well above me in levels cause they were in the states and had been playing the game a good amount more where they had been able to buy it earlier. I soon caught upto them though cause I was playing the game religously day after day. But it was nice cause while I was on my low levels, they gave me a few weapons and things to use. One of them gave me the Double Lightsabre which was always great for gloating
;-))
Anyway, for me, Tony Hawks has too much depth in it for my interest. Thats not a bad thing but it really is one of those games where you have to give a lot of time to master it and its not a game that can keep my attention, I end up on other games all the time.
