O.k I've already posted this in the life forum but nobody will read it there or do it there so I'm going to do it here. Ok bassicly what you have to do on this one is to say For or Against ( for is for war against is against war) and say why if you want to. I'll tot up the totals when the topic gets to the bottom of the topics. And be honest!
Against:
1) No evidence of WMD's.
2) Innocent people will be killed.
3) If Iraq's main export were vegetables, no-one would go to war. It's all about regime change and establishing a strong pro-USA force in Iraq and selling oil to the West cheaply.
4) The war has nothing to do with the dictatorship of Saddam - how Tony Blair has the gall to stand there and make claims that he's a ruthless killing dictator and that's why he must be deposed is beyond me. If that's true why doesn't he take Mugabe down? Or countless others that have exercised human rights abuses?
5) No link between Al-Qaeda and Iraq.
6) Hypocrisy of the highest order:
Which country has breached more than 30 UN resolutions? Israel.
Which country assassinated a UN delegate? Israel.
Which country carries on with an illegal occupation of land? Israel.
So why go to war against Iraq, stating it is in "breach of UN resolutions" when Israel has breached plenty more resolutions than that?
