Has anbody tried photocoying these cards onto stiff card and playing them? What about scanning them and printing them out? Does it work? If it does, surely Nintendo will try to ban all photocopiers as potential back up / piracy devices!

Seriously though... It would be fantastic for the development community. Imagine being able to write your own GBA game using online utilities - and then actually producing the game on cards for people to use! Beats having to reproduce the cartridge hardware.

It would all depend on wether scanners / printers / photocopiers are able to perfectly recreate to cards.

Any opinions?

BTW:
I've recently read that the e-reader is NOT region free.
American cards only run on an American unit. Japanese cards don't work on it. That's what I've read. Can't remember where.

no reason why it shouldnt work, as i work in a shop and we can scan photocopied barcodes fine,

ive ordered 2 sets of animal crossing e cards,but dont have an e reader im jsut gonna type the code into the game, so i cant try it out
