I have just caught a virus - the "Trojan"- off KaZaa, so I suggest you don't download any games from it. Also, Norton Antivirus is useless, it couldn't do anything, not even quarantine the damned thing. I deleted the file it was in and am running a system check right now. Any other ideas on what I could do?
I would update the visus definitions on Norton if I were you...
To be pretty honest, from what I've seen on Kazaa, it is stupidly obvious what files are fake and contain trojans/viruses, look at the file sizes as a guide. Plus Norton needs updating if it didn't catch it, because mine works fine, and Kazaa has the built in Bulldog thing. Scan everything before opening it and its no problem.

Backup any files & folders (Onto CD, another hard disk, Zip etc...that aren't infected). Re-Format your hard disk, Re-install windows.
This type of thing happens to me all the time I use another drive to backup & every time I reformat and reinstall and then boot up my computer it is as if I had bought a new computer.
