We could have a little competition I suppose... the winner, like everyone else gets nothing... in fact... I probably won't choose a winner, but it's only for fun.
HERE'S WHAT TO DO!
Just design a controller.
In an age where technology rules, we need some major advancements if gaming is going to improove and reach new heights.
You can add any reasonable features to your controller, like pulse-rate monitoring, sweat-sensors etc, but noting too outlandish!
It can be any size, shape, material, weight, but you have to weight up the pro's and cons of your decisions!
So, get designing, i'll post mine in a bit!
Posting a link to a drawing or 3D-design file of you controller would be good, but you needn't go to such lengths, it's only for fun - Written descriptions are fine.
Game: Expects a crap reaction, just like last time!
;-)
Controller, you say?
I think it should be a pair of trainers that would work with any Track and Field style game. They would light a little LED every time you applied pressure to the heal or toe and use analogue pads similar to the PS2 buttons to work out how hard you were pressing/running and (for the high and long jumps) jumping.
The problem would be with the last element, jumping. You would have to just jump on the spot after running hard or have a seperate button to hold and press when you wanted to jump, easier for shot put and javalin too.
