I've decided I'm gonna enter it but.. I need some help with animated banners as I havn't got a scooby how to make them.. what program do you use? Any help appreciated

I detest Photoshop - I just find it so damn annoying to use.

Perhaps that's because it's an *ahem* version :D

I did 95% of mine in photoshop and then through imageready for animating/optimising....

When does the compo end? Is it today or tomorrow?

You don't need anything as far flung as the resource swallowing fireworks. All you do is scour the net for decent images to use, hack them up 2 or three different ways in Photoshop and use the Gif Animator to string them together.

Leaving it real late there

I've done mine in flash and fireworks. If you havent even got these programs i doubt you'll get an entry together in time, to be honest. Stick to flat non-animated banners and you might make it.

Photoshop and the animator that comes with it are perfectly acceptable to make decent banners with.

Go to www.jasc.com and download the trial version.

Your leaving it a bit late aren't you!!!

You need Macromedia Fireworks or Photoshop or other programs. Check the last few posts in the official Banner Thread, some answers in there if you scroll donw a bit...
