Guys as a fellow follower of Nintendo. I will be purchasing a GameCube. But Europe seems to be a hand-me-down country to them. Therefore news tends to be slow around here,. I used to go on Ninty based websites to find little titbits on the newiest Purple little box, or to try and find a headline like:
" UK launch Date CONFIRMED!!!!!!!! "
but as we all know nothing of real importance (news) has been released by Nintendo since they said that it wil come at the beginning of this year *or so they say*. I gave up searching on the Ninty Websites, and was wondering if you guys can fill me in on anything IMPORTANT about the wonder box. That might be of interest: Launch date (i wish) Release list of game for uk, Colours to be availible (UK wise) etc etc

Yeah, according to SR there'll only be Indigo GameCubes available, and there's no plans to release coloured ones over here yet. But maybe Nintendo have changed their ideas, and decided to release colours! This would explain the delay, having to make loads of coloured Cubes and controllers aswell as just Indigo. Sony also nicked the idea of coloured consoles! They're also the same colours as the Cube's colours!!

From what I heard...at first Nintendo were only planning to release the purple GC over here when it was launched, but I think they've reconsidered it now.
And, as for the release list, I think it's pretty similar to the America release list!

And incase you haven't heard rumours are spreading around about 12th Aprill being the possible date. It is in Spring but it is JUST A RUMOUR. Not confirmed/announced by Nintendo but just something around on certain websites.

Well for a start they have publically confirmed spring release, so at leats the autumn rumours can be laid to rest.
