I wont be getting it. It's so obviously a cash-in.

I dont think there'll be much substance at all.

Metal Gear Solid was a good game. Yes it was short, Radian was a girls blouse, way too many cut scenes and the plot wasn’t as good as Metal Gear (PS1). But it was damn playable and had buckets of atmosphere. To be realist it was nether going to live up to its hype. What would with over a year possibly even two of build up.

But Substance should address allot of the problems like longevity and cut scenes. By boiling the game down to pure gameplay. A shed load of VR Mission concentrating on pure gameplay. Plus the Snake Tales, mini missions set around the original game.

I personally feel this is going to be a more enjoyable game than splinter cell especially after playing the demo.

Thanks Darwock , At least you agree with me. I can't believe that the rest of you think Metal Gear Solid is . In my opinion it's one of the best PS2 games ever.

Im not going to bother - Im quite happy with MGS2!

If it's anything like the Special Missions for MGS then damn right I'll be getting it. It adds bucketloads of gameplay and challenge.

MGS2 was good, too short but still good.

Im not getting MGS2:Substance until the price drops to a price worthy of extra VR Missions and stuff. Until then, Im happy missing out, and not much at that.

For different reasons to the rest of you, though.

I loved MGS2, but I'm not interested in the VR missions, nor the skateboarding, nor... well, any of the extra bits they've put in - so for me, it's not worth the money.
