I suggested before to SR that they should add a DVD easter egg section to UKcheats but it hasnt happened...yet.
So if you have any DVD easter eggs, post them here so people can see them too.

Incase you dont know what im on about. I dont mean easter eggs as in chocolate eggs. I mean secret, hidden extras on DVD's. These could be interviews, images, out takes etc.

So anyone got any?

I guess some people dont have anything better to do than go through their DVD collection searching for secrets.

Same here. I don't see why companies put easter eggs on their DVDs. Most of the time it doesn't say anything about them on the back (very rarely does it actually say 'contains easter eggs'). Surely, if the extra was actually listed it might persuade people to buy it as there are more extras.

Damn fools!

Yeah, does seem a bit pointless... in games, then sure, that's ok.

Ah well. There's one in Raging Bull, I know, where you select the g's in Raging to show real recorded fights with Jake La Motta in.

Can someone explain the real point of these 'easter eggs' to me? I just don't se the point of putting the information on a DVD and then hiding it away in a menu system where some people may never even view it.

It's not like a videogame where there are hidden extras to keep you going back and playing it through again... there's just no point on a DVD. If I've watched the film, I want to watch all the extras at least once - I don't want to go searching for them!

dvdeasteregg.com is the best site on the web.. It's tailored towards region 1 DVDs but 90% work on the region 2 equivalent.

It has an easy to use a to z and a just added page as well.

I have some for the simpsons DVD:

Feature on simpsons T-shirts - On the third dvd. Go to extra features, then go to the second page of features. highlight over the t-shirt on the picture of bart and select it.

Magazine cover gallery - On the third DVD. Go to the extra features, then go to the art of the simpsons. highlight over the comic book that bart is holding in the picture. select it to see a gallery of magazine covers featuring the simpsons.
