"Bring in a British Cup!"

I think that Scotland and England should drop their respective League Cups in favour of a British Cup.

I mean what sounds better Celtic V Arsenal or:
Liverpool V Grimsby!

There must be a British Cup! What do you guys think?

if celtic and rangers want to play in england so bad then shove them in the Dr Martins league and make them EARN the right to play in the premiership like every other team in england oh and cardiff and swansea as well

actually rangers and celtic are really only up to high div 1 standard they can't compete in the premiership

Bascically all we want to see is the fixtures like

Rangers V Arsenal...... Celtic V Liverpool..... etc etc

There's been talks about bringing the 2 scottish giants into the Premiership, which personally I htink is wrong. But I do think that if they were to start off in a lower division and work themselves up then this idea isnt all that bad.

Why have another cup full of "crap" teams? You must realise that most of the top Welsh teams ar no better than the English Division 3 sides.

One last thing.....

KEEP THE WORTHINGTON CUP!!!

Its the only way we can get into Europe!

Well OK but maybe the SPL teams and a couple of first division sides?
And this is instead of the Worthington Cup in both countries though.

which increases the games calendar with even more pointless fixtures for a 2nd rate cup

If you are going to have a British Cup you cannot just have Scottish and English Teams in it. They would have to put teams like Barry Town and Northern Ireland teams in.

no you will still have things like Man Utd vs Cowdenbeath. all adding the scottish teams would do to the league cup is just stretch out a useless competition and add more matches to the calendar
