A new Pokemon Game has been released in Japan (21/11/02) and will soon be released in USA on March 17. In Japan it has already sold over four million copies. Sadly these may be the last 2 games in the Pokemon collection.
The games take place on the contonent of Hoenn (may be spelt wrong). There are 135 new Pokemon including the three new starters: Treeko (grass type), Torchic (fire type) & Mudkip (water type). There is a huge improvement in graphics including backgrounds while battling, waves in the water, rain and footprints (there a lot more other graphic improvements). A new addition to Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire are the new 2 Pokemon vs 2 Pokemon. Also you can use a Game Boy Advance (GBA) trade cable & battle 2 people vs 2 people. The Pokemon representing Ruby is called Groudon & the Pokemon representing Sapphire is Kyogre.
Only for GBA & soon coming out Gamboy Advance SP. They may or may not be creating a Pokemon game for Game Cube.

Something you missed out is that the baddies that want to find the legendary creatures that the game represents are Team Magma and Aqua (Magma for Ruby, Aqua for Sapphire). You can also build secret caves inside of mountains so you can 'chill' in your 'crib' with all your link up friends, so that is instead of decorating your room at home.
