As reported by this web site, it looks very possible that Sony will make the next Gran Turismo online only. The "only" part is important. If this is right, it won't be Gran Turismo with a Vs online option, the entire thing will be online. You will have to connect (via a broadband connection) to the internet in order to play the game.
So how many people can get broadband?
How many people can afford broadband subscription (and any extra game subscription that may follow).
So, is Gran Turismo 4 online a good idea? Is it going to even pay for it's self due to the low number of people who will be able to play it?
