You know that most of the people in this world are the one that dream to have a gaming console and why do they have to put it up the prices that is so expensive that the people that cannot afford the console is still trying hard to buy a console but what about the games the games are also very very expensive for people in this world(am i right) so I would just say that to the game publisers out there and game makers please put down your game prices so that people will now often but games in original rather that fke ones.

Apart from that, they aren't charities, they are businesses, they intend to make money. They are not set up just to provide us with games, but to make a profit for themselves and their shareholders.

Games are expensive because of all the development time it takes and they are expensive to make. Shenmue had a budget of a big Hollywood block buster film. I think it was about $80 million. Final Fantasy games can easily cost $20 million to make.
When the games companies sell the games to the shops they have to make there profits, so they add more money to the overall cost.
Then you get alot of people who actually buy pirated copies, meaning that the games companies dont sell as many games, therefore need to increase the price. But you say for them to lower there price to stop pirating, but pirating needs to stop before they can lower there prices.
