He's one of the man that I respect the most in the world for his intelligence. To be he is the best manager to ever manage Man utd to consecutive successes. But, his quiting and Man utd CANNOT do without a manager like him. I think that he should reconsider his decision and not waste the success that he has built in the team. Anyway, I have no idea who will be taking over him cause I've never come across any manager who can think like him so far. I think that the board would also have a hard time looking for his successor. How about you guys?

Ferguson has hinted at staying for another year, and may be asked to stay another year until Man Utd find the best replacement for him.

Most likely to be a foreign manager take over, becasue i cant see any of the current British managers able to handle the pressure at United. Its gotta be some big Europeon name.

I think the next manager should be kept as Brittish. Someone like David O'Leary or Martin O'Neil would be good, and they've already been named as candidates. It seems VERY un-likely that O'Leary will sign as Ridsdale has 'rubbished' the idea and Leeds could end this year as their best yet! Why would he want to leave them??
And as for O'Neil, Celtic would NEVER let him go, as he's possibly the best manager they've ever had, just like he was at Leicester! His contract does run out in the summer of 2003 though and no new deal has been offered to him yet!

So maybe Ferguson will stay on for oe more year, with a better chance of going the whole season un-beaten in the league, and O'Neil will sign for free afterwards when his contract expires. I'm sure he'd be the right man for the job as he has a positive effect on all players, wherever he goes! This is what I hope will happen!!

Cuper will not be leaving Inter Milan for Utd. Trust me!

The only way Cuper will become Utd manager is if Inter sack him!

It is a tricky decision but possibly Hector Cupar? Currently manager of Inter and had great succes at Valencia taking them to consecutive European Finals.

I do want Ferguson to stay but if he does go I would possibly chose Mr.Cupar.
