The GameBoy Advance is the no.1 hand-held console ever created, and is part of a series of console (the 'GameBoys') that are also no.1 for being hand-held and even out-selling the more powerfull consoles!! They consoles still run on cartridges, and Nintendo are the only company still doing so. It would be quite complicated to have GameBoy games running from CD's as you'd also need a memory card system! How could you fit all that into one console, while also trying to keep it at a small, comfortable hand-held size???

The GameBoy Advance games usually cost £30-£35 maximun. Many people believe this is too much as the cartridges are also half the size of previous GameBoy game cartridges. What do you get for over £30?? It should be worth the money if the prices won't drop for a while! You get the manuals/instruction booklets, the game cartridge, the packaging....hang on a minute, where's the cartridge's case??? I remember that Sega GameGear games inluded cartridge cases, and all for a much cheaper price! But why don't Nintendo include cases for their game carts. when the prices are currently so high??

I have no idea as to why this is but everyone finds it much easier and quicker to store their cartridges safely inside small cases, rather than in bigger boxes. It's much harder to carry a box around with your GBa, all in one bag, as you can only really fit 2/3 boxes in with everything else. But if all your games are stored in small cases then you can fit more of them into your bag with a GBA, giving you more to play while your travelling (aslong as your batteries last).

I think it's clear that Nintendo need to introduce this system as they did use it with earlier GameBoy games. But if you want a pack of 6 GBA game cartridge cases then you can get one from Special Reserve for only £5.99!! Good old Special Reserve, always have what you can't always find anywhere else. But if Nintendo don't add cases to the game packs then the chances will be greater of game becoming damaged, leading to unhappy gamers, who could turn against Nintendo! But for £35 you expect there to be a case included, why not???

With old GB game you used to get cases. I'm not bother, I have the carry case from SR, you can hold one cart in the GBA and then 4 others.
