However whenever I try to query it or dial out with it Windows 2000 crashes (which is a very rare sight).
I can't get it working and it's really irritating me. I have a PCI TNT 2 and I think that might be conflicting with it as I can ping servers in dos with speeds of 150ms yet in games get 600 odd pings.
Please let there be someone in here that can help me.
And does anybody out there have any solutions I'll be their best friend for life!
I'm dying to get back online to play RTCW.
I don't think it could be that though. Your PC is always using your graphics card, whether it's playing a game or not. You need to get a small OpenGL app from somewhere and run it in a window. Then try pinging something.
In any game that uses my graphics card I get pings of 800 odd. Yet in Dos when I ping it the average is 150ms.
I'm guessing a conflict. If there is how do I fix it?
It may be fixed now fingers crossed.
Do you mean it works OK in all OSs you've tried except Win2K?
Oh, and I think your 600ms ping for games could have more do to with overloaded servers than conflicts.
