It all sounds very, very sweet.

Any guesses on new franchise?

I don't have any ideas yet, but I reckon that it will be the game using the WW engine and cel shaded [style] graphics.

I think you'll find everyone in the Ninty forum who has the slightest intrest in 1st person shooters owns or has owned a copy of Timesplitters 2 already.

Single player goldeneye it certainly isn't.

Pity that they didn't stick with the Siberia theme from the first level for the whole game.

Multiplayer kicks some serious a-ss though.

Considering Timesplitters 2 is more of a Goldeneye game than Perfect Dark was. Nintendo owners woul dbe much advised to take their heads out of the box and look at some very, very seriously good games to be had.

Just because it's not a first or second party game, doesn't make it bad. And the fact that it was made pretty much by the entire Goldeneye Rare team once they had all managed to defect from Rare to Dr Doak's Free Radical Design should make you a little less wary at jumping ship to a non-Nintendo designed, developed and produced game.

Go on, the waters cold at first, but you'll enjoy it in the end ;)

Going with something new?

maybe a FPS to replace Goldeneye and Pefrect Dark which held part of the N64 fun and there is no way now to move them onto the GC, So making a game to 'Replace' it wouldn't be so such a bad idea..

A Nintendo Racing Game wouldn't be so bad either, Its something new i guess. if you looks towards the face of Realism gaming e.g. Nintendo Rally (hehe), It would only appeal to some people rather then Mario Kart Style which is for Everyone i guess :)

A nintenod Strategy game :D (Thats a mad idea...)

Now thats something new!

Oh well, With Zelda of Cel Shading, Its likley nintendo are going to Expand into new areas of gaming, Its what there'y good at :)

Example for that... Mario Golf and Mario Tennis, Both Sport games... Still turned to gold.

I would *hate* for Nintendo to do a serious driving game

serious + realism = no fun

It does sound sweet Zelda sequel, full 3D? Ohhhhh. I personally think that may be kept for a GC2 lauch though.

Hmm a new franchise eh, maybe a new adventure game Mario style for those who think Mario is "past it" or "babyish"
