"Is Tony Hawks 3 as good as they say or is it just hype ?"

Having never played a Tony Hawks/SSX game until xmas I was in the dark as to the playability etc, is Tony Hawks better than Tricky ??, I also enjoy the racing element as well as the trick side of things.
How many of you own both Tricky & Tony Hawks ?

Nope get 600,000 on the cruise ship. Can get 125,000 combos pretty easy. Could get up to the 1,000,000, might have to try. Maybe we could set up a website or thread on this board for all the scores.

Ooh! I've got both and I prefer THPS3 and what's more I'm well on the way to being a "God" on it!

If I don't land 500k on my first trick then its barely worth carrying on!

Hmm, this is a tricky (geddit?) one.

Between the two, I prefer SSX Tricky, but you'd get more "cred" by being a god at THPS3.

I own Tricky and THPS3. Both are good games and are different. I prefer THPS3 as the levels are free roaming. You also have the tasks to do. You can create a skater or skate park. Tricky is also a superb game and needs to be in your gaming collection. Buy both as they are different from one another, but both are top class games.
