Why do a lot of games have age restrictions on them, when most the time they’re not that bad. A lot of games have restrictions, so only people over that age can buy that product, just because they have a bit of gore in them, or maybe some swearing. But cd's that have lots of swearing in the lyrics don’t get the same kind of restrictions, they only get a parental advisory: explicit content sticker, but anyone can still buy them.
Why can't games be rated the same way, if a warning sticker would be placed on the games instead of an age restriction, it would let that person buy the game, and they can't moan if it affects them in any way, because there was a warning about it on the front. That way more games would be sold, and people would have more choice what to buy.Instead of having to buy another game because they're not old enough to buy the game they wanted , they would be able to spend their money on what they want.

Yes, I do think that games and films should have "Explicit Content" or "Parental Advisory" labels but it should be up to the parents whether they're allowed to view or not - this is done with Audio CD's, and so anyone can buy them. However, these "15" and "18" stickers can also prevent a child who wants to secretly watch it (because he isn't allowed to watch it) - watching it. It's too late to change the cerfification system now, because it wouldn't be worth the bother and I prefer it the way it is now.
