If you can get your hands on it (Rated 18) then Grand Theft Auto is the best game to get, as it will keep you busy for hours.....

If not then Id probably recommend Tony Hawks 3

I don't have a PS2, but if I did, No doubt I'd be getting Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3!

I have had gta on my pc which has kept me busy for ages but I did kind of get bored of it after a while and i dont no if i want to shell out £35 for a game tha i have already played and got tired of. I also have tony hawks which i think is an amazing game but as i haven't got a memory card yet it gets a bit tiresome.

GTA3 is nothing like the previos versions.

Its one of the only games you can play for "days" without needing to touch you memory card.

Tony Hawks on the other hand has the option of multiplayer

I suppose but then I thought about getting Gran Turismo 2 because everyone made a massive fuss about it, and some of my mates brought and said it was good.

You mean Gran Turismo 3?

Well if your mates bought it, why not borrow it of one of them?

There are a lot of good games out there, what type of games do you like and then we have more chance of recommending a good one.
