I don't watch television, offers nothing of interest except for:
The Simpsons
The News
Other than that, I can't remember the last time I watched a programme.
Except for tonight, C4s "100 greatest moments for 2001".
Which means I go to see 12 months of tv, just the best bits in 3hrs.
Just think of all the hours spent staring vacantly at the screen, not talking to people, playing music, writing etc that I saved by condensing 2001 into 3hrs of edited tv.
Fantastic, I recommend that for next year.
Don't watch mindless game shows, sitcomes that aren't funny, reel-life shows etc.
Instead, spend that time learning an instrument of language, engaging your family/friends in conversation and at the end of the year?
Just watch the highlights.
Christ Jamie Theakston is annoying, god bless fast-forward video function.
I like films and will watch those as and when I please (watched Karate Kid last night, it was sweet), I stopped watching the news shortly after September 11th - makes my world easier.
Talking to people is much more fun, so I do that. Or work.
Working sucks.
Oddball to say the least, I like his magic stuff but my god...
The Ali G thing was excellent,I wish I watched the whole thing now, "Does Brooklyn want to grow up and be a footballer like his dad or a singer like...Mariah Carey?"
One thing I have noticed is the time-travel channel. If you watch two episodes of Family Fortunes, they're never from the same seres and Les Dennis goes from looking dapper to looking like a pikey.
Oh yeah, when did eMpTyV 2 (the alternative music channel) merge with all the other poop and become another tentacle of eMpTyV 1?
I just can't believe that a football match was first, I waited hours for it as well. Infact, my whole family did - BAH!
