Speaking of which mind... Die Hard Special Edition, Reg 2, comes out 04/02/2002. Not too long.

It happens with all Smith DVDs, somehow. I was tempted to get a multi-region DVD Player for the extras on Dogma from US, then reminded myself I had no money and that the film was all that matters.

I was disappointed with the supreme lack of extras on the DVD, especially as it's just been re-released in the US with about a billion extras on it... grrrr...

I did pause it to try and see the sail boat though.. but my eyes started to hurt so I stopped...

It is very quoteable, although most K Smith films are. I wouldn't say it's better than Dogma, although it's hard pressed. Maybe my film perception is still distorted from replacing Dogma with LotR:FotR as my favourite film. I'll go watch Chasing Amy again, that'll cheer me up. I'll "share a MOMENT" *does the fingers thing* with Holden and Banky.

I watched it today my friend :-) In glorious DVD quality.

Alongside the gritty realism, insightful comments on the 20th Century male and structured attack on American consumerism, you get great quotable lines like

"My grandmother always used to say why buy the cow when you get the sex for free?"
