I have bought a full team nearly on this game. I find the best thing to do is aim to buy players mainly for attack. The defence you get is more than adiquite but i buy Thuram and Nesta anyway. I have 4 forwards that i have bought, Shevchenko, Ronaldo, Owen and Wiltord, all great and are capable of scoring great goals. I also bought batistuta but his lack of pace lets him down.
In midfield i have Davids, Zindane, Totti, Rivaldo, Beckham, Reberto Carlos, to juggle around with that all have great skill.
And lastly i have Schmiceal (sp) in net.
The only bad thing about it is that i have to pay 201 points at the end of the season, but the team is so good that i have more than enough points to use.

I signed up a player who I created in edit mode, he has maxed out stats and comes at a heavy price tag, 63 MP transfer cost and 24 MP mantenace cost. Though I'm on Div 2 still and I'm not going to change and Castello and Baroja until I win this Div because they are at the top of goal ranking table and also there is another guy I think Xiemens who is at the top of the assist table.

So far I have got Larson, Roberto Carlos, Giggs and a player I created myself, Next purchase will be a keeper and a central defender.
