Just wondered if anyone else is having problems with MSN (Windows Live) Messenger, only started this last week.
I just cannot sign in through Freeola, however I am able to with other providers.
It comes up with the Error 8100030d, and ive done what the Microsoft Tech website says, but no such luck.
When I click on the Tools->Options->Connection->Advanced settings and do the TCP settings test, it says it can connect to the service.
Look forward to your help on this one!
Thanks
Sarge
I'm not a WLM user - but a search shows lots of people see that error and there are numerous troubleshooting guides to follow if no one here comes up with an answer for you.
The answer doesn't always seem to be the same!
Clean installs, Registry edits etc. etc.
I wonder if last weeks Windows Updates (Microsoft Tuesday!) may have started your problem if you say it's only just appeared?
If you think it may be related trying Windows Restore going back before your last batch of updates might be worth a look as a last resort.

Edit:
Forgot to say Sgt_Wilson, *DONT PANIC!!!*
