Hey can anyone give me some advice on modding my xbox now that the gaurantee has run out, im thinkin about buying the x-ecuter chip but don't know how easy iut is to install. Little help?

No you cant use xbox live, to some people that would be a big miss out, but my dad would never let me put my xbox online any way, so it doesnt effect me...

Oh, tom, i know its wrong that why i said it (i think), and even if criminals did steal my xbox, i would just claim it on the insurence and get a new one, then do the same with that, but then two people would be doing it because i would and the criminal would...

And why the hell do you call them "backups"? You might as well go the whole way and admit you're a filthy criminal who thinks he's an exception to the law.

But you can't use Xbox Live, I believe.

I have that chip, my mate done it for me for £30...
I love it, i can store game on the hard drive, watch DVD without the remote, play backup games, watch import movies...
I just love it...
Now i know loads of you are now going to have a moan to me about how is is wrong, and that the game industry are loosing money from it, well i dont really care to be quite honest, i am just giving some advice to him...
And yes you can play halo, you can do everything the samel, even go to the normal xbox screen, you can take pictures, upload them to your hard drive and then use it as you background...
