Finally, after months of waiting, I got a GeForce 4 Ti4200 installed in my PC, so I took my PC home, put Medal of Honour on, before noticing that there was no sound. The speakers were plugged in, the power was on and the volume was on the level I always have it on. Can anyone help me?

I hate BIOS settings. I've had nightmares about them before now.

But then, I've had nightmares about my old planetarion planets being attacked while I slept. I saw the attacks coming in in text.

A friend of mine used to play those old text adventure games so much, he was dreaming in complete text for a while, which is fantastic.

The graphics card and the sound card are sharing the same IRQ (11), but I can't change it. What do I do?

How do I do that. I'm sorry, but I'm not too hot on computers, or just not as good as you.

It sounds like an IRQ conflict to me..check in the bios that the soundcard isnt sharing the same one as the graphics card.

Reinstall the soundcard.

As in physically remove it, change PCI slots and reinstall it.

Or, it might be an IRQ clash which is a sod to sort out and I can't think how to describe fixing it while I'm sat here.
