Metroid Prime aint as long as most game mags are making out.
Ive had the game a fortnight and im about 17 hours in on the final boos with 72 per cent complete.
NGC reckons its a 30 + houir quest, to get a 100 per cent including replaying bits when you die etc.
Ive prolly spent another three hours replaying the hard bosses.
AND the other 28 per cent will take about 5 hours max.
And it aint like ive rushed through it or anything and I havent looked at any guides and stuff.
But aside from this the game is magnificent - and boy its addictive, once you start its difficult to stop playing.

12 and something hours to complete it on my first time with 75% items and probably about 90% of the scans.

its not a short game, dont get me wrong, but its a little shorter than everyone makes out,
there is replay value though - playing on hard mode and trying to scan 100 % stuff to unlock art galleries and the original metroid add longevity to the already cracking experiance.

Doesn't matter to me. In fact slightly shorter games suit me more these days because I've gto so many other things to do. My list of essentials to get are:
Prime
SMB 2
PSO + Modem
Zelda
Skies of Arcadia
Zelda
GBA SP
All that will cost a tidy little fortune but I can't help myself.
Plus, I've just purchased the 4 disc Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Saturn on e-bay - it cost me £70! But it's supposed to be worth nearly twice that. More of an investment, really.
