Boxing day marks the half way point in the league and I think its predictions time.

If you are too lazy to do the whole lot just do the top 6, bottom 3 and the cups.

The Premiership:

Arsenal
Chelsea
Liverpool
Man U
Leeds
Newcastle
Sunderland
Tottenham
Aston Villa
Fulham
Southampton
WestHam
Bolton
Middlesbrough
Blackburn
Ipswich
Everton
Charlton
Derby
Leicester

Cups:

league cup: Chelsea
FA:Arsenal/liverpool

The premiership will be close run i think with the top 3 being within a few points of each other.

Newcastle will flop in a couple of weeks. Man u won't recover. Chelsea, arsenal, and liverpool will take the honours this season its just hard to predict the order of the top 3 and goal difference may decide it.

Relegation: Leicester are a lost cause i think. Derby will probably go down unless they have one of their amazing late runs. Ipswich will just escape when stewart and co get into good form. Everton or charlton will take the final spot.

How can you put Everton fourth from bottom. They are 9th now and playing better than ever before. (Not including the last couple of games when Walter Smith puts a defender up front of course.)

They won't finish 9th but they are better than Southampton, Middlesbrough, Ipswich.

Yeah I am although my list favours arsenal i think. Chelsea pretty are undeniably favourites in anyones book for the league cup. And with there current league form and the fact they aren't losing games this season should be enough to see them into a good position. the league should be decided shortly after christmas as chelsea arsenal will be a crucial fixture as well as man us games but i wouldn't fully ignore liverpool yet.

Man Utd for the league. Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle still gotta go to Old traford.

I think Newcastle will do well, especially if Dyer stays fit. And they must have an amazing confidence buzz going through their team at the moment.

Might Think i have put Liverpool a bit low, but i think they have had thier good time already. They dont play football worthy of winning the league. Very boring, and only come out and play when they are losing.
