I want this game really badly.
But can anyone tell me, if the games are all emulated faithfully to the originals - does Sonic 1 include the old up, down, left, right, A, B, Start cheat?

The games are EXACTLY the same as they were around 10-years-ago, so I'd go with 'yes'. Although, the music in the original Sonic game does sound slightly faster that it used to...

If you like Sonic then get this game - don't hesitate!

It's brilliant, mine arrived yesterday.
So much to do and see!


I started a thread on it under the "I feel like... a kid, again!! :D" title.

Im gonna try and moovh off my dad coz he wants Sonic Spinball, if it works then I'll go back to my childhood gaming days.

The games are all true to their originals (being almost exact ports) however I have noticed some tiny changes, for example I'm sure some of the music in the original Sonic game is faster than it should be.

I've not tried the cheat on it yet though, so I'm not sure if that's still available.

i got my the other day.
It's great, allthough i havn't played it much.
