I couldn't stop laughing at work on Sunday when a guy in the shop at work actually said the sacred words of this forum: "That'll learn 'em!"
Where he got it from? I do not know...
I always thought this was just some kind of thing someone like Mystique just made-up to sound different, and not something that us in the West Country actually used, in conversation!
It was response to someone saying about how one woman had just bought around 30,000 creosoted, used, railways sleepers form something, and that now she won't be able to use even a single-one with the EU apparently making creosote illegal, for some reason.
