Everyone likes to play games; whether it's fun or just because there's nothing else to do, gaming is great. But what about playing a game playing a game? Well, with the help of Activisions brand new deal, you can. Using us forumers and a variety of tasks, Gaming: The Game is coming! Here's a little bit about it:

What's it about?

At the start of the game, you must choose between 1 of 4 characters; AfroJoe, Monkey_With_Attitude, Idlewild and, of course, Rickoss. Each of the characters have different skills, which can determine how hard, or eady, the game is. Your main goal, with whoever you choose at the start of the game, is to build a supreme games collection of the best game around. But that's not all, in order to make your collection the best, you must pre-order as many games and you can, as some include special bonus' when you pre-order. With over 4000 games to collect and play, it's a huge game!

What do I do?

Well, in order to retain a good level of games, you must make money. This is where the player selection comes in. Each of the characters have different skills to make money, some much easier than others. You must find your way around different shops (Including Special Reserve!), searching through bargain bins, trying to get 3 games for the price of one. Also trading in older games that aren't as good for better games, to make your collection perfect.

AfroJoe's special skill, unusually, involves his hair. At first you start off in the street, talking people in the street into touching your hair for money. Whilst words of persuasion doesn't sound too hard as AJ gets more and more credibility he gets harder jobs. All in all there are 5 jobs you must go through, this is the same for all characters. His second job trying to grow the largest afro in the world in order to win a cash sum of £1000. While this sounds, again, very easy, it is a little tougher. You must get people to sponsor you, whilst balancing your afro. If you fall over, you won't get as many sponsors and you'll fail. His third job is modelling for an afro magazine. You'll have to make sure a little marker stays in one spot so you don't move too much. This may seem easy, but you need to use the 3D stick on either GC, Xbox or PS2 and angle it slightly to the left, so you can't just leave it. His fourth job involves making afros. You work in a wig factory and you must match up shapes in a puzzle-esque situation, before the timer runs out. The amount of wigs made amounts up to the amount of wigs you made. Finally, AJ's final goal is a hair dresser. Any mistake and the customer will want compensation. You must manually cut peoples hair into afros, using spray, a comb and whatever else when it's needed

MwA's tasks are packed full of monkeys! Ever seen that busker outside the Co-Op with the monkey playing music? Well that's who you play, you must rotate the 3D stick perfectly in order to make it sound good and get money from passers-by. While this is very simple and you'll be making money in no time at all, it soon gets harder when you must save your fellow monkeys! Having so much attitude pays off when you have to break into each zoo in the city and free monkey mates in a typically fun platforming adventure. With each monkey you save, they give you £10, but if you manage to save a Gorilla you'll get a whopping £50! Even better, Ourangutangs get you £100! Your third job is bit more toned down than what you just done. You own a market stall in the middle of the city, selling bananas. In order to get sales you must dance. So whether of not you have a dance mat, you must push buttons in time, so MwA dances around. MwA's fourth job is where it really gets hard. You join the circus and, in order to get as much money as possible, you must tame lions, become a trapeze artist and many more hard tasks. If you fall, get eaten or have any kind of accidents, though, you'll get fired! Finally, once MwA has become a star monkey, you get a role in Super Monkey Ball 3. As well as giving you a free copy to build your collection even more, you can make money by getting past all sorts of obstacles as a track tester before the other monkeys hit the road!

All of Idlewild jobs include music, so you don't have any kind of rhythm, he maybe isn't your best choice. Your first job is plain and simple busking. You must press the right buttons to a beat in order to make more money. Whilst listening to songs in shops, you can steal them and play them to get even more cash. Your second job as Idlewild is to sell CD's in a shop. Whilst this may sound easy, you must get rid a certain amount of bad CD's in order to get paid, which is quite tough. If you see an old granny looking for a present, or anyone else with no idea about music, try to sell the bad CD's to them. But don't put them off or you may have to go back to busking. Your third job is guitar fighting, you must fend off your opposing band by smashing him over the head with a guitar and stealing his money. The more bands you steal from, the harder it gets! At times you'll have three band members with drum sticks, keyboards and guitars, all out to get you! Idlewilds fourth is a bit les violent, you must slightly alter top-hit songs, so that people can't really recognise them, but they're still. Also, another game element is, if you get sued, you must try your best to get out of it, or simply bribe the judge. Finally, you get to go back to plain and simple music. Whilst it's a lot like busking, one false move and the crowd will want their money back, plus you have to control drums, guitar and whichever other instruments are included.

If you choose Rickoss you get a pretty simple ride. At first you must become a mime artist. As a mime artist you must go as close as you can to the 'wall' with your hands, which isn't such a hard task. Secondly, you'll be tested on your record breaking skills, you must break as many records as you can in one day, breaking yet another record. These challenges include doing the biggest jump on a bus, flying a plane under the channel tunnel, avoiding all obstacles and many more. If you manage to succeed you'll get £2000. Your third job is to become an Italian Chef. Cooking may sound hard, but all you have to do is choose toppings to put on a pizza. Whilst, if the customers are sick, you'll lose money, making it again isn't that hard. Your fourth job starts to get hard. You must make proper Italian dishes; choosing the right amounts, right ingredients and stirring the food for the right amount of time. If one dish does go wrong, you'll lose a lot of money because they take so long to make. Your final job puts you in charge a whole restaurant. Making food as quickly as possible, checking nothings burnt and telling all the staff what to do!

When's it out?

You can expect to see Gaming: The Game, when either hell freezes over or a couple of days after the four horsemen of the apocalypse arrive. Enjoy!

What's the difference between an Australian wedding and an Australian funeral? One less drunk!

Etc, etc...

Ah well, I tried.
