What do you think is the best thing about christmas....you know, the laughter the decorations......or is it the over lit up houses that blind you as you go past......that smell of christmas dinner as you run down the stairs....their faces as they light up with joy when they open their presents......the carols, the joy, the game you've wanted all year or is it just that feeling of compleetness...that feeling that no-one can take away...not now its here...that same feeling that makes you shout out
HO HO HO
Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas day is boring. Once I've opened all my pressies and eaten, I've got nothing more to do. The rellies just chat and I am bored out of my head. I think its stupid that you have to stay in all day at Christmas.

Why?

Isn't that a bit sad, it's bad

It scares me too!! How can you come on your PC when you've got friends/familly to see, food to eat and loads of presentsto open??? OK, maybe you'll get a PC game. That's the only reason why i've ever been on a PC on x-mas day!

Surely there's no-one else who'll be on here tommorow??? Stay away, and enjoy christmas!!

Yeah, but the thing is it NEVER snows on x-mas day in England!! I think it snowed on Boxing Day or just after it last year. So maybe there's still a slight glimmer of hope. But it looks more like it's gunna rain today.

The best thing would have to be the snow but I like the presents too. Also, I like all of the cheesy Christmas shows that are on.

The best thing is waking up with a stocking beside you.

My favourite feeling is when I wake up nice and early, still half asleep and then I am suddenly fully awake when I realise that it's Christmas. I wake my family members up (except my dad) and we all open our stockings in our beds (this year I will do it sitting at my computer and inform you all of what I get). We wait for our dad and then we open our presents. My overall favourite moment is when I open the presents and the excitement there is unexplainable.

I quote Ant when I say "Then we can give presents all year round, eat lots more food, and shops and companies can do many more marketing frauds than usual!".

Then everyone will be happy!

Sadly, Christmas is over-commercialised and the real spirit of Christmas is lost - but hey, we get presents!

Sorry to hear that Grix, I hope it all goes fine for you in the end and I'm sure it will. This proves my point, the real meaning of Christmas is to be with the ones you love...and get presents!

Best thing for me about Christmas is having all your family around and thinking "Heh, just a couple more days and I won't have to see them all again for another whole year!"

I'm not really excited about Christmas at all this year. I really don't know why.

Perhaps it's because it's the last Christmas I'll be spending with my friends, as next year we'll all be away.

I usually watch two things to put me in the Christmas spirit.

1) Muppet's Christmas Carol. I've watched it twice already, I'll probably watch it again tonight.

2) Merry Christmas Mr Bean. Sad as hell, but it is really quite warming, and I watch it on Christmas Eve while drunk.
