I start a new job after christmas as our schools network manager assitant, this job entales general maintainence, upgrades, repair etc

It will envolve a lot of note taking as im learning at the same time as 'doing' and for this reason ive decided to purchase a palm pilot, thats right, no note paper for me especially being a network managers assistant.

Anyway, i was just wondering if anyone knew of cheap places to buy the said products, the items im after are the following (My average price found so far is listed next to the item)..

Palm m500 200
Palm m550 300

Palm Vx 180

Palm m125 (none so far)
Palm m100 100

Any cheap accessories would be great too, remember i am a student and as tradition goes, im quite poor !!!!

Yeh don't waste your money mate. Get something worthwhile like several DVDs or games.

256mb of RAM at £40. You just know somethings round the corner:)

I ont think Ive ever met anyone who uses a Palm Piolet for anything other than a replacment Filo Fax...

Definitly never to take notes with...

Your much bettter off with a pen and pencil... Much more versatile for notes, impromtu diagrams, doodling whilst bored, etc...

The poorest workman always blames his tools, apparently. Or in other words, or you really need it?

Yeah but it doesnt suit the job description, im a Network Managers Assitant, therefore i should have a fancy bit of kit to record all my data.

paper is cheaper as well and a pen is dirt cheap if you don't pay :)

To be honest mate, you'd be better off with pen and paper, its so much quicker and easier.
