If you were stranded on a desert island, what 3 things would you take with you?

Amusing thread... for those who chose your beloved games machine... where will you get the electricity from????

Anyway....

1) My fiancee ( she might nag, but the pleasure outweighs the pain!)
2) My CD collection (does that count as one thing?)
3) My stereo

Dear problem setter,

Could I please ask what counts as a 'thing'?

Can I, for instance, take a fully laden cruise ship complete with crew, or is that bending the rules? In which case, do I only get one rudder? Or do I get only a screw from one of the rudders? (or one of the cabin-girls)

Can I choose magical or legendary objects, or do I have to take things that actually exist? Or *could* actually exist? In which case, can I have a solar powered PS2, or not?
