Now that games are starting to appear with network support (ie Tony Hawk's 3) I'm dying to find out about how it works.

I understand that you can actually use your existing ISP details (nice one!) and a USB modem but not sure about whether it needs to be a PS2 specific modem or just any USB one etc...

There's a list of compatible modems in the THPS3 manual.

For TH3 I think only one USB modem works. I think they tell you which one in the manual but I havent got TH3 as I am getting it for christmas. Somebody whos got it will be able to tell you. I also think that the name of the modem has been mentioned before in a post about TH3, so look back through the posts as it wasnt many weeks ago.

There are only certain USB modems that will work with Tony Hawks (not sure about other games), but I can't find out which ones at the moment.
