I knew Excite were in trouble...
And I knoew that when Excite.CO.UK kept saying that they would be fine since they were seperate from their parent company, that they would be affected by any changes from their US domain...
Although I wasnt expecting Excite.co.uk to vanish from the Web altogether...
As I tried to visit their page I was provided with this message...
'Dear Excite UK User,
We regret to inform you that www.excite.co.uk is no longer available. You will be re-directed to Lycos.co.uk who provide similar services including News, SMS, Portfolio, Chat rooms, Email, Personals. You can access your old Excite email until 31st December, to do so click here inbox.excite.co.uk.

You will be redirected to the Lycos homepage in 6 seconds. If you are not redirected click here'
And redirected to Lycos.CO.UK ...
