Hi,

I just recently bought a RGB lead for my N64 after being told that it's the best connection possible for getting the best picture, and now I'm faced with a dilemma. I thought it was strange when the lead didn't seam to work at all when I tried to play my games as all I got was a blank black screen. Now, after phoning up a shop and asking to buy a simple plain SCART lead and also asking them if they sold N64 RGB scart leads they told me the UK N64 doesn't give off an RGB signal anyway so I should just purchase the plain SCART lead. But I thought to my self that this couldn't be true as shops were always selling RGB leads for UK consoles all the time. So is this true?

Another thing is that I just recently bought a Dreamcast RGB scart lead and was wondering if the UK Dreamcast has the same problem? And what about the UK Playstation One and UK PS2?

Yes it could, only the US and Japenese consoles couldn't output RGB and even they could be easily modified to do so.
