Everyone has to eat food to live right? Yes.
Everyone buys food when they are hungry right? Yes.
People like to try new things usually? Yes.
I believe companies such as Nintendo and Microsoft should start producing munch, with promotions and competitions ect. You may think I’m mad, But it just might work, and here's some ideas that I’ve thought of...
Cadburys Mini Cubes, in association with Nintendo - Nintendo could make an agreement with the chocolate giant to make something similar to their "Mini Eggs" franchise. Instead of eggs, Why not shape them into cubes in the style of the Gamecube? And instead of that stupid bird type creature that’s plastered onto every single packet, they could use a popular Nintendo character like Mario, He's a chubby cheerful fella, People love him as well. Obviously releasing a limited edition brand isn’t exactly going to work wonders is it though? So Nintendo could include money off vouchers for games, or VIP cards for the "Nintendo stars" scheme on the website. It could work.
Micro Munch - Xbox hasn’t had it easy, but is slowly becoming the console of choice for the discerning gamer. Usually it gets called "The big one" or something lame like that, so why doesn’t Microsoft take advantage and buy out Walkers? Monster Munch is a monster snack, just like the beastly Xbox...Instead of the paw shaped snacks; they could be shaped into an "X" and colored green. Thus promoting the console in its own rights! Forget the childish insults towards the size of the console, and use its "beastly" size to actually sell the console. Although they'll have to think up a better slogan then "Have a feast, play your beast" people might take it the wrong way...
I know you may think its a stupid idea, But it could actually work. Everyone is attracted to promotions, free stuff and competitions so companies should take advantage! Maybe even just join advertise on the odd Mars bar, it might actually help.
