If you use a Skyscraper then it adds between 100 and 300 pixels to the width - twice that if you use left and right skyscrapers.

The InstantPro builder has two set widths. The width is set according to the navigation options that you choose.
If you have only a top navigation the site width will be 702px, however if you have a side (or a top and side), navigation then the site width will be 892px.
So, in answer to your question, to make your InstantPro site wider, you'll need to use a side navigation.
To change these options, open the InstantPro Website Builder, and from the site overview screen select the 'Edit Website Theme' button under the Design heading.
This will give you an overview of a number of elements which you can change. Click Edit next to the Navigation options and you'll be taken through a selection of different nav options.
Also from the site overview screen, under the 'edit navigation links' button, you can select which of your pages appear on which part of your navigation.
