I do mix CDs for my girlfriend to ween her off the pap she listened to before she had the grace to pick me from the crowd.
Out goes:
Bryan Adams, Lenny Krevice and Meatloaf.
So now she listens to Clutch, Red Hot Chillis, Dr John, Louis Prima and other stuff.
And I've done her another mix CD tonight with the following tracks of funky goodness.

1- Pharoah Monche "@#!k You"
2- Shirley Bassey "History Repeating Itself"
3- Blackstreet "No Diggity"
4- Cake "Italian Leather Sofa"
5- Gill Scott Heron "The Revolution will not be televised"
6- Xzibit "X"
7- Deliquent Habits "Return of The Tres"
8- Bob Marley "Could You be Loved?"
9- The Cure "Friday I'm in Love"
10- K7 "Come Baby Come"
11- Oasis "Whatever"
12- Tone Loc "Wild Thing"
13- Aerosmith & Run DMC "Walk This Way"
14- Cake "Shut The @!#K Up"
15- U2 "One"
16- Tone Loc "Funky Cold Medina"

True. I thought long and hard about that.
Except these two song are just too good to not put on the CD.
They both have totally different feels and pacing.
But yes, I did cross the line.
But I figure Xzibit and Tone Loc cancel that offense out.

I want a mini-disc thingy so I can make my own tracklists... I do however do this on my computer. My last compelation thing is as follows:

1. Radiohead - Airbag
2. Blur - The Universal
3. The Verve - Space and Time
4. Super Furries - Its Not the End of the World?
5. Manics - Motorcycle Emptiness
6. U2 - where the Streets Have No Name
7. Supergrass - Moving
8. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
9. Moby - Porcelain
10. Led Zep - Stairway to Heaven

Lovely :)

You committed the eternal sin of including more than one song by an artist, Cake. It's punishable by death in some countires. Although you did space them out, which is admirable.

My bro isnt a pro dj (though his skills have improved very much since he started) but he also does mix cds but one thing I got to say about your compilation is that you gotta mix hip hop on its own, I know you only do it for your girl friend but if you want a compilation to appeal to a hip hop fan mix only Hip hop and maybe R n B in one cd, thats what my brother does.
