The Masked Avenger rides again…

In 1998, the famous blockbuster movie, Zorro, found the presence of Catherine Zeta Jones. Even now, The Shadow Of Zorro is turning into a recognisable title for PlayStation 2 gamers, and especially for Zorro fans out there. But the game is quite irrelevant when it comes to the plot of the movie. Instead, it’s based on the TV series and the comic book.

The action takes place in the 1820s, California, where the new chief of police has arrived, and he’s not all what he seems to be. Although he is now declaring to be Captain Montero, he may just be the notorious traitor and war criminal, De La Hoya. But it’s quite funny I mentioned that, because if he was killed during a sword battle, how can he still be alive? Was he reincarnated? I doubt it. After all, this is the 19th Century…not a manga movie such as, Ninja Scroll. So why is he there? And who is the mysterious Carlota?

The game is going to be based along the lines of a mysterious adventure, where you travel through 28 locations, along with a mixture of action, stealth, rescue, shooting, swiping, and let’s not forget…with the use of your trusty whip. The atmosphere seems quite similar to that of the comic book, than it does being based on the actual movie or series. But then again, the movie was adapted from the series and the series was based on the comic book, so then I guess there can be quite a connection with the action and adventure to form a decent enough game for everyone.

I hope this game makes it big. It seems as though Batman Vengeance has made quite a name for itself, especially with it’s price tag, and finding other titles based from comic books and TV series can also be quite intriguing.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this topic, and thank you for entering The GAD Realm.

LOL - I just like Dungeons & Dragons, that's all. On top of everything else, I love GAD. So when I combine the two, I get...The GAD Realm.
