Can't wait.
And to think, four years ago I was o agoraphobic I didn't even leave the house alone. And now... jumping on a plane (alone) and flying to another continent... wow.
Life changes in the funniest ways, doesn't it?
Just beginning to get a bit nervous - it's something I've wanted to do for quite a while now and the whole thing of it being so close is a little nerve-wracking :S
If I did get shot, then well, it was nice knowing you all :p
And yeah DISNEY! UNIVERSAL! SUNSHINE (thought that last one would make you jealous :p)
> Well you finished that well hun! lol
I think Machie may have paid a bit too much attention to that episode of Top Gear which saw them go over to the States! Or, more likely, he's telling it like it is. :D
I've never been, but what I hear of Florida is largely good, and of course best of luck in meeting your friend. Though don't go on a Duck Hunt, as most of the ducks will have flown off or been shot before you start, or so I've been told...
> Oh and enjoy yourself, don't be afraid to talk to people and try
> not to get shot. =)
Well you finished that well hun! lol
Wish I was going to Florida in 10 days =D I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Hm advice, about meeting your penpal or travelling alone to Florida? Which by the way is pretty brave of you, I mean you didnt even go to the Freeola meet ^^.
Well at the moment things are a bit hectic at the airports. You'll want to keep an eye on the airport website for any additional security measures they might have implimented.
Can you change your seating on the plane still? Ideally if travelling alone I would sit in one of the two seats at the back. Not right at the back as you dont want to be woken up by people opening and closing the toilet door. If you're seated too far back then you might find all the good food choices are gone and you might not get the meal you wanted. =)
I think transport is one of your main concerns unless your friend is driving you everywhere. Make sure to plan out everything you do inadvance. Try to spread out your money over the days and always keep some for emergency.
Try not to stand out so much as a tourist, so that means you can't wear that Man U tshirt I'm afraid. Always be alert and make sure your money is secure.
Oh and enjoy yourself, don't be afraid to talk to people and try not to get shot. =)
Machie... advice please? You seem to know a lot about travelling the world to meet people!
But yes, 2 weeks and you'll be getting a postcard! :D
