Many of you may have noticed that Tails, Sonics trusty sidekick, used to have a total of nine tails. This was perfect for him to levitate from the ground and reach areas Sonic couldn't. But though time, 9 turned to 2. Poor Tail's got 7 of his tails stolen. Some say it was Sonic, trying to fly himself, but I know the truth. It was, in fact, the members of this very forum. Because of their apparent hatred towards tails, 7 members stole one of his tails each!
AFROJOE -
AJ didn't particularly dislike the little Multi-Tailed animal, but his afro was getting a little old. Needing some new to spice up his hair, he opted for one of Tails tails. While his afro distracted the unknowing Tails by jumping on his head then running off, AJ snuck around Tails and cut one of his tails off. Luckily, Tails didn't notice. For a while he decided he wanted to be called AfroPonyTailJoe, that was until he realised he looked like David Seaman on drugs.
EL BLOKEY -
Ever since El Blokey discovered Hitman 2, he’s been wanting to test out his stealth and skill, but unfortunately hasn’t had the chance. But when he found out an unprotected Tails was in town, this could be his chance to finally play the Hitman 2 game for real. Cheese wire at the ready and dark clothes on, he set off. I won’t go into detail, but let’s just say Tails was found in the morning tied up, with tape over his mouth plus his clothes and a tail stolen…
MONKEY_WITH_ATTITUDE -
Seeing as it was MwA’s tribe of cheeky monkeys that Tails originally got his tails from, MwA had a settle to score. At the fall of darkness, MwA led his group of vicious little chimps to where he had been told Tails was. When they found Tails, they shaved all his hair and stole one of his tails, just to get their own back. His tail can now be found being used as a doorstop somewhere south of the Amazon.
TILTAWHIRL -
After playing Super Mario Sunshine for 57 hours straight, the words ‘Destroy Sega’ were imprinted on his mind. Seeing as Sonic has spikes all over his body, Knuckles was at punching and Cream the fluffy bunny had a huge metal hammer, Tiltawhirl decided Tails would be the best target. After a drunken battle with a lamp on the way in Tails’ house, Tiltawhirl attempted to blow up the house by placing explosives under Tails’ bed. Luckily for Tails, the explosives weren’t very strong and all he lost was a tail, but he was devastated when he found his lamp was completely ruined. That cost £15!
½ PINT -
½ Pint’s big problem is that he gets extremely drunk after drinking only half a pint. One day he was minding his own business in the pub and Tails offered him a pint. Needless to say, he got drunk and started threatening Tails. When he tried to punch Tails, he ended up hitting a barrel of beer that fell onto one of Tails’ tails.
IDLEWILD -
Being in a band, he has to constantly get new guitars, drums and other instruments. When some of his strings snapped while at concert, he had to find some strings quickly. Luckily, Tails was near by so he let him use some of the hairs from his tail. Unfortunately for Tails, the strings worked so well that Idlewild hit him over the head with his guitar and stole one of his tails…
MR SNUGGLY -
While his name suggests he isn’t anything of a vicious person, when provoked he can be very dangerous. When Tails told him his name was spelt wrong, he got a bit mad. After stealing one of his Tails, he said Tails name was wrong, because he only has one tail. That was, of course, until he realised that Tails still had two left…
So, next time you talk to these members, be careful, they may just end up stealing tail! Just to clarify, this is in no way an attempt to cover up that I actually stole all of Tails tails to make specially stitched jumpers. Also, if you do want a Tails T-Shirt or jumper, expect to see them hit the shops on the Twelvty Thirst of November.
