I prefer arcade-style games that I can put on for a quick blast.
I often find that I get more (in terms of enjoyment and gameplay) from games that are labelled "short-lived" as opposed to games that are supposed to offer "longevity".
Games like CRAZY TAXI 1&2 and JET SET RADIO: I can play these games for 5 minutes or two hours - depending on what mood I'm in or how much free time I have.
I'm not sure whether this has anything to do with your post - which seemed to change subject with each paragraph.
Anyway, I'll sign off by saying: GOAT DAMN THE QUEEN.
