I`m just saying that consoles aren`t always the best because they`re made by big companys,Cheap handheld`s can be more popular in many different ways........

the game boy is the official longest selling console by far. it's had 4 make overs Game boy (1989) the the game boy pocket then game boy color (spelt yankee way) now Game boy advance.

Gameboy is still most popular by far. The Tamagotchi thing sold by the bucket load but that's something that died off very quickly.
It was a virtual pet, not a games console, and rightly died QUICKLY.
No handheld in any form can have outsold the Gameboy, not even the 999 in 1 games.
