....Its the Bees B****x, how can one small box bring so much happiness. Ninty are definatley on the up. I just feel sorry for anyone waiting for the UK release. Anyway, Rogue Leader is waiting for me. BYE.

I got my Jap Cube from Hong Kong and its modded to play US games as well. Its got a little switch on the back and its apparently the easiest modification on any console. It cost £170 AND Rogue Leader is soooooo gooooood.

Also, whats the point in getting a PAL console from Australia when it runs 17% slower? and you cant get to play the games before anyone else or the ones that are never released over here

I actually found that info on IGN. It could be usefull that you can change the region code, but it doesn't allow people to play pirate games. That way, people cannot be accused as pirates when they want to play import games.
I bet Nintendo are still annoyed though.

That was in NGC. How to modify a GC. If I get a GC this Xmas which is unlikely (but I may still buy one with the money I get) I will get a US one but I think I'll get CA Games in Decourcy's Arcade to modify it. Their shop is about 2 miles from my house. You kno how NGC are always banging on about it. It is quite rubbish, very small with almost no N64 or GC games at all. Not what they make it out to be. But they do specialise in import.

I have my Jap/USA Jet Black cube as well! Had it just over a week now.

They offer this service for £24.99. Its also got the Panasonic GC, I want one of these they look amazing. They also sell import GC in all different Colours for £349.

Cant wait for the UK release as I think i'll get one with a few months of it being released.

With a little hacking, it can play US or JAP, and with a little more clever thought, you can add a switch to play both.

You have to open up the GC (which is the most difficult part) then solder two points together to turn a JAP GC into a USA GC. If you add a switch, it can do both.

Have you got the US version or Jap? I thought a US one can only play US games and the Jap one only play Jap games. Have you got both? I may be tempted to buy a GC. I have a PS2 and pre-ordered the X-Box. Hopefully will be able to get the GC this summer. Is there a been UK release date been set as i've heard spring/summer.

Nah. The smart money is importing from AUSTRALIA. Pal games. Pal machine. Its also cheaper but it don't come out there for a few months yet. But still, it is gonna rock.
